BE B.A.D. THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday, October 17th, join the Beverly Arts District (B.A.D.) in exploring the artists' studios and galleries all around Beverly! From noon to 5 p.m., creative spaces all along Cabot Street are opening their doors and welcoming the public in to look and experience the art they have to offer. My internship site, The Artful Life Counseling Center and Studio, is participating as both an art gallery space and hosting creative activities for all ages. The art will include making wish or worry sticks, mini collages, mixed-media coloring collages, and more. 

It will also be an exciting day as the opening of our Undergraduate Art Therapy Exhibit, which is my curatorial debut! Each contributing artist submitted not only their work, but also a description of how they, as artists, have been influenced by their studies in Art Therapy. The pieces are stunning and a great introduction into breadth of techniques and variations in the art therapy field, so drop by The Artful Life, or any of the B.A.D. Open Studio sties this Saturday!
