A WALK IN THE PARK

I'm a Boston girl at heart. It's not only my current stomping grounds, but also close to where I lived growing up. Some of you might know about the Boston vs. New York rivalry, which extends from our roles in the revolution, all the way up to present day sports. But I have to admit, in terms of parks, NYC has Boston beat.

Central Park will always be one of my favorite shooting locations, simply because the backgrounds are always changing! Vivid green foliage in the summer, rich warm leaves in the fall, and an all inclusive backdrop of stone, lakes, open space, and hidden magical architecture makes this one space basically a photographer's dream. And it was in this bright summer landscape that I met up with Eric for our photoshoot. We explored the bridges & natural rock structures that sprouted up like mountains, with only a distant edge of skyscraper skyline to remind us that we were still in the heart of Manhattan. After a quick stop on the traditional green benches, we even managed to find a new (and my favorite new) spot, with stone stairs carved straight into the side of one of the large bedrocks.

A warm hearted actor, Eric has lived in the city for years. He radiates that comedic charisma, and the goofy-tv-dad vibe. We even got to entertain some some picnic-ers in the area when he tried some "waving at my friends" style poses. Embracing the hustle & bustle of the city, we managed to fit in an entire shoot before Eric had to run off to an audition for a potential new project. Take a peek at some of the final shots in the gallery below:
